Just called in. No work for me today. Mental health day ahoy. And about damn time, if I say so myself.

Today I took mental health day. I called in to work and did not tell my daughter i was taking the day. I puttered, I sewed, I read and I cleaned, all things I wanted to do, done when I wanted to do them. It was an absolutely lovely day.

The last two days at work have been hellish. I was sort of contemplating a day off but decided not to because I want to save my days for Fall. But Bree came down with a 101.6 fever last night and was still feverish this morning. Howard could have cared for her but he is under the weather also, nursing a bad tooth.
